The Director, Employee Survey & Analytics will have responsibility for employee attitude measurement, benchmarking, and research to enable J&J; to impact business outcomes through more informed decisions. This individual will be responsible for partnering with business leaders and vendors to design, lead, deploy, and administer the global employee Credo survey. He / she will be responsible for analyzing the survey results and developing insights for the organization. The role will also be responsible for providing internal guidance and expertise on other employee surveys for the organization. The individual will be responsible for crafting the employee survey vision and strategy for the enterprise and will be a key leader and contributor to the overall organizational analytics strategy. This individual and his / her team will be responsible for using advanced statistical methods in the evaluation of employee perceptions and attitudes in order to assess the effectiveness of the workplace and key drivers of business outcomes.
This position reports to the Director, Total Rewards & Organizational Analytics. In addition to leading the efforts for the global employee survey, the role will also support the growth and advancement of workforce analytics within the business and industry. The role will be responsible for leading a team that will be building statistical models and conducting analyses on employee attitudes to examine the relationship with different areas including, but not limited to: company strategy, supervision, employee engagement, talent development and collaboration. He/she will lead others in conducting hypothesis testing and will draw conclusions and forecasts that inform management's decision making. The Director will present findings both internally and externally to inform business decisions and further the advancement of employee attitude analytics. He/she will participate with external groups to benchmark our practices and partner with internal leaders to shape our strategy.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree in Behavioral Science, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Economics, Organizational Behavior and/or Statistics is a plus. A PhD is preferred. A minimum of 10 years business experience is required. Experience managing employee surveys is required. Knowledge of Human Resource data, terminology and systems is required. Experience in analyzing employee surveys and workforce information is required. Strong strategic thinking, business partnering and leadership skills are required. Good presentation and communication skills are required.
Knowledge of statistical packages (e.g., SAS, SPSS) and Microsoft Office is required. Experience with surveying techniques and analyzing survey results is required. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills are required. Vendor management experience is required. Experience conducting qualitative research in organizations is preferred. Understanding of and appreciation for advanced statistical analyses including regression, ANOVA, survival analysis is preferred.
This position may require up to 20% travel and is located in New Brunswick, NJ.
