The Senior Manager Mobility Services supports the delivery and quality of logistical mobility services to the J&J; business. This includes managing the relationship between the organization and mobility vendors across all activities in which the vendors are engaged. This role ensures the optimal use of vendor resources and the high quality delivery of services and balances investment drivers with assignee experience, compliance and cost and continued focus on increased simplicity and agility.
The Senior Manager, Mobility Services will assist in the management of logistical services to ensure consistent deployment of enterprise-wide Talent Mobility processes and support and acts as an escalation point for service questions or issues. She/ He will develop and implement vendor management policies, standards, guidelines, technology, and procedures, will communicate with contracting parties on all aspects relating to the fulfillment of contractual obligations and will partner with internal J&J; partners regarding vendor Safe Harbor, Third Party Intermediary (TPI), WICO, FCPA certifications compliance and regulations. The Senior Manager will assist in RFI/RFP processes on vendor identification, evaluation and selection, will participate in the process of negotiating contract terms and conditions and ensure compliance with contract terms by vendors and consultants and will assess customer satisfaction for all logistical mobility services delivered to J&J; businesses. The individual will maintain current reports focused on metrics, risk conditions, and data comparisons to facilitate the review of key indicators and will establish and manage the process for vendor billing and review of fees and charges. The Senior Manager will manage the problem resolution process; act as a direct contact for escalated service questions and issues, and provide leadership in resolving issues. The individual will monitor and prepare reports on vendor performance and adherence to SLAs, will proactively evaluate the vendors relative to the market to seek ways to improve the cost / offering equation and will maintain current knowledge of vendors and professional services firms in the market. Further the Senior Manager will conduct market research and analysis of the latest market trends and approaches to vendor services delivery. This individual's key customers are HR and business stakeholders. The Manager primarily interfaces with the contracted mobility vendors, and the Regional Mobility Advisory Services Teams. This position will be called upon regularly to act as the liaison between the Mobility Services Lead and vendors at both the regional or enterprise level.
Qualifications
A minimum of Bachelor's degree required. A minimum of 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in vendor management is required; 3 or more years experience with mobility services vendor management preferred. Ability to develop processes and vendor service requirements that deliver enterprise compliance and consistency is required with appropriate experience addressing process flexibility design for cross regional / cross country market needs preferred. Ability to manage vendor relationships and drive results against established service level agreements is required. Ability to manage complex interaction with personnel outside of the organization is required.
This position will require exceptional written and verbal communications skills, as well as, a proven track record of managing change. This individual will require strong analytical capabilities with the ability to work well between functions and across all levels of the business. Strong interpersonal and technical skills are required to facilitate collaboration. This candidate will have proven experience driving projects to effective conclusion, prioritizing workload and remaining focused while resolving complex situations. In addition, this candidate will have strong consultant and leadership skills with a global mindset and possess cross-cultural sensitivity.
The preferred location for this position will be New Brunswick, N.J.; alternately this role may be located at any appropriate JNJ location in North America. This position may require up to 25% travel, both domestic and international.
