The Manager, Mobility Policy, Tax and Compliance is responsible for supporting the development of mobility policies and procedures, managing policy exceptions and resolving compliance issues related to tax, immigration and employment laws. She/ He will support year-end compensation process for Talent Mobility population, will support US Payroll year-end process for Talent Mobility population and will support development and communication of mobility policies and principles, involving key stakeholders as needed. The individual will assist in the engagement with stakeholder to review policy guiding principles and framework to validate alignment with the J&J; business and will review and manage escalated policy, tax or compliance exceptions, seeking Policy, Tax and Compliance Lead's input as required.
The Manager, Mobility Policy, Tax and Compliance will ensure mobility policies and practices are in compliance with tax, immigration and local employment practices and will monitor internal practice, external market trends, and conduct benchmarking studies as necessary to identify needs for policy updates or improvements. She/ He will partner with vendors to conduct due diligence and analysis on specific tax and compliance issues, will support the development of training and communications to BBHR, Line Managers and Staffing partners on tax, policies and Talent Mobility program offerings and will monitor mobility program satisfaction and identify and promote enhancements to policies, procedures, and tools that will improve service delivery. Further the Manager will participate in the development of enterprise tax strategies to support compliance and cost efficiency of international assignment investment and will support the development of processes that ensure program, tax and legal compliance. The successful candidate will evaluate process controls periodically and implement to ensure compliant service delivery The Policy, Tax and Compliance Manager's customers are BBHRs and business line managers. The manager interfaces with a number of internal partners, including Mobility Advisory Services, Corporate Tax, Executive Compensation, Benefits, and Total Rewards as well as contracted service providers (logistical services, tax, immigration, competitive international market data providers).
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree required, A Master's degree would be preferred. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required. Working knowledge of international taxation and mobility policy is required. Demonstrated commitment to high quality and excellent customer service is required. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, along with demonstrated experience partnering with multiple internal and external clients/ vendors required. Experience with Polaris Expentia or other expatriate program management systems preferred. Demonstrated strong attention to detail and an awareness of quality control, risk, and compliance issues highly desired.
This position will require exceptional written and verbal communications skills, as well as, a proven track record of managing change. This individual will require strong analytical capabilities with the ability to work well between functions and across all levels of the business. Strong interpersonal and technical skills are required to facilitate collaboration. This candidate will have proven experience driving projects to effective conclusion, prioritizing workload and remaining focused while resolving complex situations. In addition, this candidate will have strong consultant and leadership skills with a global mindset and possess cross-cultural sensitivity.
This position will be New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 30% travel, both domestic and international.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
