Partner with BMS GPS (Global Product and Supply) organization to support analytics for manufacturing, quality and supply chain by drawing experience with business analysis; modeling platforms; data manipulation software and visualization tools such as R.
Python, SQL and Tableau; reporting using tableau/excel; ability to aggregate diverse and large datasets and create custom tables; experimental design, building predictive models and NLP models, and understanding of statistical models and machine learning techniques such as clustering, regression and forecasting; AWS tools such as Redshift/S3/Sage Maker; project management; and data analysis and data engineering.
Identify and contextualize critical business issues to embed an objective and unbiased point of view into the business conversation.
Drive the application of fact-based decision making for key questions within the quality portfolio enabling priority business choices.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of quality business priorities, meeting agreed upon analytics deliverables / timing.
Design, develop and implement a broad array of business analytics that solve complex problems in a computationally efficient and statistically effective manner.
Identify new opportunities to further leverage analytics, data and analytical tools.
Ensure best practice adoption within stated areas of responsibility, applying appropriate levels of technical capability, standardization and subject matter expertise.
Manage planned and ad hoc analytics requests, ensuring consistent quality and timeliness in delivery to business stakeholders.
Leverage standards for the provision of analytics to support planning and decision-making processes and utilize appropriate escalation processes.
Provide input/feedback and works actively to improve and enhance capabilities related to the GPS BIA (Business Insights and Analytics) team.
Support culture of analytics and fact-based decision making through the utilization of standard methodologies and approaches.
Supervise and collaborate closely with external analytics contractors and vendors when applicable or assigned.
Conduct detailed team walkthroughs and peer review of team s work to ensure quality, cross training and knowledge management within the team.
Ensure consistent adoption of standards, processes and methodologies by contracted or other team staff.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Pharma or a related field plus 4 years of post-baccalaureate experience showing demonstrable ability in the skills set described above.
The starting compensation for this job is $129,000 plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
