We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support a teenager with autism during their daily bus commute from Tenton Falls to New Brunswick.
This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a young individual's life while gaining valuable experience for BCBA supervision.
Key
Responsibilities:
Accompany and support a teenager with autism on their bus route to school.
Apply principles of behavior analysis to manage and support the teenager's needs during the commute.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and educational staff to ensure consistency in behavior strategies.
Qualifications:
Comfortable with the principles of behavior analysis.
Experience working with individuals with autism is preferred but not required.
Ability to commit to the bus schedule and be punctual.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
Hourly pay for time spent on the bus route to school and travel time back to your vehicle.
Approximately 2 hours per day, 10 hours per week.
