Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Edit/Media Assistant for Athletics.
Under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director for Brand Advancement and Assistant Athletic Director for Brand Advancement, this position will collaborate with staff, develop ideas and lead production of new/original graphic design content within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
This position will also assist in developing and executing social media strategy with an emphasis on Instagram and TikTok.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Establish unique look and feel for each assigned sport program while maintaining consistency with overall Rutgers Athletics brand guidelines.
Complete graphic requests for teams in a timely manner, while ensuring graphics are creative, original and in-line with look and feel.
Help develop and execute social media strategy with focus on Instagram, TikTok and new platforms.
Track on industry trends and create engaging content.
Assist photographers with creative direction at teams' preseason photo days.
Take lead role in the hiring, training and supervision of graphic design and social media interns.
