The Medical Assistant:
Prepare correspondence and reports with a high level of attention to established grammar, spelling accuracy and professional layout.
Organize, prepare, and verify staff timecards for the Administrator's signature.
Receive and screen telephone calls for the Department and prioritize them appropriately.
Coordinate departmental meetings, conferences and appointments while maintaining the Department calendar.
Complete travel and conference arrangements.
Receive requests for supplies, equipment, etc.
from the various employees of the department.
Prepare appropriate documentation for approval by the Administrator and Chairman.
Assist in the preparation of the physician master schedule.
Prepare and distribute monthly schedules.
Maintain physician's files, ensuring that all license, CDS/DEA certificates, malpractice insurance, and other credentialing information is up to date.
Requirements:
Minimum of one (1) or more years office experience.
Highly motivated, independent thinker and self-starter.
Enthusiastic team player.
Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
Able to manage multiple projects.
Strong follow-up and communication skills.
Bilingual:
Spanish/English strongly preferred.
Requires attention to detail and computer accuracy as pertains to data entry and patient scheduling and competence on basic office machines.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Familiar with clinical practice operations a plus.
Excellent computer skills.
(Word processing, office scheduling, familiar with Windows).
Additional Information:
There are currently two needs, at different locations.
The schedule would be Monday through Friday 8:
00am to 4:
30pm Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Clinical Practices Communication Credentialing Data Entry Interpersonal Skills Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
